Generally following the Team Schedule and focusing on the A events.

 

Racing goals for the coming season? 

To continue building my fitness and to regain my Catergory 2 status

 

List finishes for the last couple of years? 

2007: nd overall Southern Oregon Outlaw Cyclocross B Masters, 5th overall Shasta Race Series Cyclocross A men, 7th Humbug Hurry-Up Mtb Masters 35 ( on a cross bike!)


Best race finish/accomplishment ever? 

Accomplished 5 full seasons  of  Dutch and Belgian racing from 1990 to 1994, including classics like Olympia's Tour of Holland, Vaux-Eupen-Vaux, Spa-Hasselt-Spa, and Liege-Bastonge-Liege. Rode for Team USA in 1991 for select races in Europe and TVM Amatuer squad in 1993.

Type of Riding Done: What percent of your time riding is spent on each?

Road: 70%

Cross: 30%

 

What is your favorite type of riding? 

I will always love the road most. Nothing compares to a great road ride,but sometimes You just have to get dirty too!

 

Best ride ever? 

Nevada City to Downieville, CA and back. 95 miles through the Sierras, 6 long climbs and descents with a donut stop in the middle! Love them donuts!

 

Favorite Current Pro-peloton rider? 

Erik Zabel. He brings hope to us old men!

 

’07 Tour De France Pick? 

Bobby Julich

 

Winter training/sports? 

cyclocross, and playing with my two boys! If you have kids, you understand.

 

Other acivities/hobbies? 

Local politics. Conservative, of course.
